Tasha’s Corner: Asparagus Gruyere Tart

I found this recipe on pinterest posted by my sister and thought it would be perfect with some prosecco on what was supposed to be a stormy night. For once we missed the storm for the most part, but they still canceled school. What else is new. Anyway we went to visit our nephew on jared’s side yesterday for few hours and took advantage of the Trader Joe’s wine store on the way. This recipe is extremly  simple. All you need is fresh bunch of asparagus, grated gruyere cheese, one rolled puff pastry (found in frozen aisle) and spices if desired.

Flour clean surface and roll out thawed puff pastry. Score a one inch border to make a crust. Generously cover surface of pastry with grated cheese and then place asparagus in a row across. I added two strips of bacon  and some fresh cracked pepper for an even more rich and awesome flavor. It’s seriously good. Enjoy!
